Shin Kikuchi organises SCHOLE label with his finely honed sense of beauty, and his visual works expresses the deeper worldview with delicateness which attracts many fans with the sophisticated design. Besides photography, visual works, and paintings, he now attempts to produce music as another form of expression. A music duo “synfilums” formed with Itoko Toma, a modern classical artist whom composes an experimental and intimate musical works with her classical background, start producing music from 2020.

プロダクションカンパニー『SCHOLE』を主宰し、写真・映像・デザインなど多岐にわたる視覚表現で奥深い世界観を構築してきた菊地慎と、クラシックの確かな素養をベースに実験的かつ親しみやすい響きを紡ぐモダンクラシカルアーティスト、当真伊都子によるデュオ。
2020年、菊地が新たな表現領域として「音楽」へ踏み出すべく結成。視覚と聴覚がかつてないほど高い親和性で溶け合う作品づくりを目指し、緻密で洗練されたアートピースを世に送り出している。
